Quote of the Week

As reported by the Austin American Statesman, when asked whether he would need to concede the fact that his line won’t be able to get to Harrell this week and just drop more defenders back into pass coverage, Texas Defensive Coordinator Will Muschamp replied: “We don’t concede a whole lot.”

3 More Keys to Beating Tech…

1. Maintain discipline in the defensive secondary- Tech’s offense is about isolation and match-ups. We need to try and not give up the big play while looking for opportunities for turnovers. [...]

On Thursday, The University of Texas basketball program gained the verbal commitment of another top rated talent. Yesterday, Rick Barnes and the Longhorns picked up a commitment from Phoenix North, Arizona shooting guard Daniel Bejarano, the country’s No. 2-ranked shooting guard by rivals.com in the Class of 2010. This now gives Texas two five star [...]

This one is just a funny one. Mac McWhorter, Texas’ offensive line coach referred to defensive lineman Roy Miller as, “a rolling ball of butcher knives.” How do these guys come up with these things!
